THE ARCANE ORDER Guitarist: 'What A Great Year To Look Back On!'

December 25, 2006

Guitarist Flemming C. Lund of THE ARCANE ORDER — the Danish band which also features in its ranks vocalist Kasper Thomsen (RAUNCHY) —has posted the following message on the band's official web site:

"So this is about it for 2006. Man, what a great year to look back on! We released our debut album in August and the reations were nothing but overwhelming. We got to play shows for the first time, met cool new people and new fans, and we got nominated for album of the year at the Danish Metal Awards, where we all had a blast.

"So what's in it for 2007? Well first of all the other guys in the bands are going to get quite busy. Both SUBMISSION and RAUNCHY will be recording their next albums in 2007 and will of course be rehearsing a lot to be as prepared as possible. And if all turns out well there's a chance we too will book studio time at the end of next year. A bit too early to tell for now really, but that would be very cool for us.

"Other than that we are hoping to be able to set up a lot of shows during spring and summer. We are still working on doing some European shows, which will hopefully take place sometime in March or April. I will also be reuniting with INVOCATOR to play some shows in March and April, amongst other at the MTV 'Headbanger's Ball' event in Store Vega in Copenhagen alongside SUFFOCATION. This will be nothing but killer!"

THE ARCANE ORDER's debut album, "The Machinery of Oblivion", was released in August 11 through Metal Blade Records.

According to a press release, THE ARCANE ORDER "have combined the best of past and future to create a completely original style. Perfectly produced by maestro Jacob Hansen, THE ARCANE ORDER is the new powerhorse in Danish metal!"

THE ARCANE ORDER lineup:

Kasper Thomsen (RAUNCHY) - Vocals
Flemming C. Lund (INVOCATOR, ex-AUTUMN LEAVES) - Rhythm and Lead Guitar
Boris Tandrup (SUBMISSION, SLUGS, ex-AUTUMN LEAVES) - Bass
